We started our outdoor climbing carrer last year (2019) and even though we found it extremley scary we fell in love with it. We went on two trips of outdoor climbing and the highest climb was 12m, a 5c sport route. The scary part was not the hight of route but the feeling of uncerteinty of the new area of climbing. We have been climbing inside for five years and the wall in our gym is 17.5m. I find fear to be a motivator in reasonable amounts because it means you are trying and new things. So naturaly after this near death experiance i instantly wanted to do new and higher climbs. So i layed my eyes ont this mountain called blåberget (blue mountain) which is the closest rock to host a possebility for multipitch. Blåberget offers routs from 20m-67m and almost exclusively trad climbing. This is one of the resons that it didnt happen last year. I have no trad-gear and it is really expensive, but no many of my friends have a full rack so its go time! Ive looked on a 4c for starters and its a 55m dubble pitch with amazing views. Im planing to do this in early June.
