On your way to Tjäktja you really start to work your way up to the highlands. If you are hiking early in the season there is a good chans that you will be walking in snow here and the next two segments, even in early august when we hiked there were snow left on the top so you should have that in mind when deciding when your going to do the hike. The higher you get the more beautiful the landscape gets which by it self is enough to keep going in the steep elevation of 230m+. When you arrive at the Tjäktja hut you can enjoy the kitchen but that is as far as the accommedations up here in the highest located hut on the trail.
